RST AI Copilot for Zabbix

Connects to your existing Zabbix. Ask about monitoring data in plain language, collapse alert storms, investigate faults, and draft triggers and maintenance windows.

A 14-day trial licence, issued as soon as you sign in.

Overview

RST AI Copilot for Zabbix is a self-hosted web application that connects to your existing Zabbix 6.0–7.4 through the JSON-RPC API, with no frontend plugin to install. Operators ask questions in plain language; the gateway turns them into read-only Zabbix API calls, runs them, and shows the results as a table with links back into Zabbix. The live problems view takes Zabbix webhook pushes and polls to fill gaps. During an alert storm it groups related problems by topology and time and points to the likely root cause and the affected hosts. Fault investigation draws on topology, recent changes and remote ping / traceroute to reach a conclusion and write an incident report. Triggers, item keys, OIDs, templates, LLD rules and maintenance windows can be drafted in plain language and are written to Zabbix only after you confirm. You choose the model: a cloud model or an OpenAI-compatible service on your own network, with three field-masking modes (cloud, private, offline). Community is free, Professional is a per-user subscription, and Enterprise adds single sign-on, audit forwarding, model failover and offline activation.

Capabilities

01

Ask Zabbix in plain language

Ask in English or Chinese. The gateway generates a read-only Zabbix API call, runs it, and shows the result as a table with links back to Zabbix. Follow-up questions, result explanations and alternative angles are supported, and conversations are kept.

02

Live problems and alert correlation

Takes Zabbix webhook pushes and polls to fill gaps. In an alert storm, related problems are grouped by topology and time, with the likely root cause, the affected hosts and an AI score (Professional).

03

Fault investigation and reports

Investigate a problem using topology, change signals and remote ping / traceroute, get a conclusion and an incident report, and push it to Feishu, DingTalk, WeCom, Teams, Slack or email (Professional).

04

Trigger and monitoring-config assistant

Generate trigger expressions from plain language, look up item keys and OIDs, get template recommendations, draft LLD rules and diagnose unsupported items. New triggers are created disabled (Professional).

05

Maintenance-window assistant

Describe the scope and time in one sentence to get a maintenance draft; nothing is written to Zabbix until you confirm. Only maintenances created by this product and inside the host group allowlist can be cancelled here (Professional).

06

Network posture and topology

Posture overview, topology view and fault impact, monitoring-health baseline, device end-of-life and a device inventory. Every edition.

07

Platform checkup, reports and inspections

Check the Zabbix server's own queues, caches and process load with an AI reading; operations, capacity and SLA reports, scheduled reports and scheduled inspections (Professional).

08

Data boundaries and audit

Read-only by default. A host group allowlist limits what can be queried, and field masking decides what reaches the model. Write actions (acknowledge, create trigger, create maintenance, run script) are granted per role. Every sign-in, query and model call is kept in a local audit log.

Included in every edition

Professional and Enterprise both include the following. None of it is gated by edition.

  • Smart query: natural language to read-only Zabbix API calls, table results with links back to Zabbix; follow-ups, result explanations, alternative angles, and reusable learned solutions
  • Live problems: Zabbix webhook push plus polling, alert summaries, change signals
  • Network posture overview, topology view and fault impact
  • Field masking, all three modes: cloud, private model, fully offline — you decide which fields reach the model
  • Host group allowlist: a second boundary above the Zabbix account's own permissions, limiting which host groups can be queried
  • Item-key dictionary, knowledge base, monitoring-health baseline with device end-of-life, device inventory
  • Call audit: every sign-in, query, model call and settings change, kept in a local audit trail
  • Outbound channels: Feishu / DingTalk / WeCom / Teams / Slack / email
  • Online update: checks for signed releases, downloads and verifies them, installs with one command on the host
